Purpose of the Triad Process:
The Triad Position Mastery Process utilizes the information and insights from Bovo-Tighe's Business Talent Assessments to help a staff member fully unleash his/her capabilities and improve job effectiveness. The process is facilitated by an experienced, certified Bovo-Tighe consultant. It is conducted with a direct connection to existing business/work objectives for the employee's position, and results in an action plan to maximize the working relationship between the employee and the supervisor/manager.
Context and Process Flow:
The Triad Position Mastery discussion about the results of Bovo-Tighe's Business Talent Assessments, including review of key business goals for the position, is a unique and powerful way to determine how the employee can reach the next level of effectiveness. The assessments do not rate the current performance of the individual measured. What they show is where the staff member and the supervisor can focus additional effort to leverage existing strengths, build additional capabilities, and further develop effectiveness.
The assessment reports utilized in the Triad process are:
During the Triad Discussion, the Facilitator and the participants focus on the position of the employee, and how the employee and supervisor will work together to maximize performance. Both explore and agree to maintain key, consistent approaches, which are captured by the Bovo-Tighe Facilitator, along with brief notes of the key agreements and action items. These agreements and action items form the foundation of the follow-up AFTER the Triad Discussion, which will include monitoring/check-in by Bovo-Tighe.
In the short-term, a typical Triad will clarify objectives and measures of success for the position, and help develop a focused "operating system" for the employee to achieve greater success. A key long-term benefit of the Triad process is to help the employee and supervisor form a richer relationship to ensure the ongoing success of the position, and develop their broader capabilities.
